I know Mahomes is amazing regardless but the last 2 games Tampa D has gotten to both Brees and Rodgers and make things difficult. Could we see it again today with 2 starting OL out for KC?

Absolutely it does. The Bucs have a good shot now. With a healthy Oline, the Chiefs blow the Bucs off the field.

Their left tackle is out and the replacement is the guy who blocked for Cam in that SB against the Broncos...yeah the one that was blocking for Cam when the Broncos got in the backfield all night. So yeah it could be something to look out for.

Of course.

Devin White, JPP and Shaq Barrett can get after a QB.

This is likely the matchup that favors either team the most and could be the winning piece.

Mahomes turf toe will be the biggest issue

If he’s mobile, o-line won’t matter much

Mahomes has proven even with a great pass rush he gets the ball out so quickly it neutralizes the threat. Look at the Saints game - they got after him in the backfield all game and often it didn’t matter.

Mahomes feasts on pressure and the stats back that up. If he’s pumped with enough drugs to not feel his toe, won’t matter.

Not as big of a difference as people think. Andy Reid is the best at scheming up plays, that will neutralize that issue and Mahomes gets the ball out fast and moves around very well.

The bigger key to the game is how well KC gets to Tom Brady because he sucks when under pressure.

Only a matter of time before he gets another shot at HC somewhere. He really is an incredible DC.

To answer OP.. Most definitely. Their injuries + vea being healthy will be the difference if TB wins tonight.

No Remmers shifts from right to left t

Kc doesn’t have a traditional run offense. They will run screens and things to slow down the pass rush. Andy Reid screen game second to none. Bucs matched up better vs saints and packers

"Getting to Mahomes"?

That's a recipe for disaster.

Mahomes ain't a 37 year old Rodgers.

The more you pressure him the more he freelances and is at his best roaming out of the pocket, passing with crazy completions or scrambling for 1st downs.

I doubt the Bucs gameplan will be to pin their ears back at the D-line instead of trying to force Mahomes to stay in the pocket by rushing wide and a linebacker spy up the middle.

Not many teams have ever really "gotten to Mahomes" and it's not the ideal place in the Super Bowl to go whole hog like they did against Green Bay.

Were the chiefs healthy on the offensive line when they only beat them by three points in the regular season?
