Stay with an aging franchise with no shot at title with LeBron in league or go to another contended like Clippers with Paul and others to give you a better shot at the title!

Your hired to be fired and the Celtics would part ways with him in another year or two anyway.

Why not start over with a contender.

I don't think I've ever seen a coach just get the hell out of town as soon as a team doesn't look like it'll be a real contender for a few years.
