Do you think pitchers like when the stadium gets loud for 0-2 pitch?

I wonder if they like the noise or if distracts it them. In basketball they always get quite for the free throws of the home team but not in baseball when there are 2 strikes. Any pitchers got some input?

Feels like 99 percent of the time they throw the next pitch in the dirt anyway.

When I pitched I always loved when the crowd did the wave in the 8th inning of a 1-1 ballgame.

I really meant when there is 2 strikes in general and are trying to get the strike out. For instance in a full count and the crowd starts going wild, I wonder if they like it

What I find funny is when the opposing pitcher has a 3 ball count the crowd gets loud to distract him.

When the home pitcher has a 2 strike count the crowd gets loud to help him.

I've always wondered this as well.

I remember a baseball player, it might have been Brian Roberts saying that hitters usually tune everything out and don't hear the crowd during at-bats. I imagine pitchers are the same way. I doubt the crowd has much impact on a pitcher.

Crowd/noise mean very little to a pitcher

You tune out; tunnel vision kicks in. Source: former pitcher

Would you like for it to be quite and one person yelling or a bunch of white noise?

This. In my time of playing competitive sports, through high school, I never heard the crowd while in the moment of performance. I can't speak for everyone, but any other players that I've ever talked to about it stated the same.

Biggest advantage of home field is last at bat and you can sleep in your own beds. Crowd mean little to nothing.

The crowd is just making noise, it’s not meant to distract anyone. You’re just cheering for your team.

Some may use it as a nice adrenaline pump. When they know the crowd is making all that noise in support of them rather than against them, it's a nice confidence booster. The crowd eruption from getting a strikeout is a nice mental reward.

But for others, I agree with the other replies that they don't even notice it enough to make a difference. I've never heard a pitcher say "gosh I wish our crowd would STFU!"
