California University of Pennsylvania announced Tuesday that player Jamain Stephens Jr. had died. He was 20.
Stephens was set to be a senior in 2020-21. The school said the 6-3, 355-pound defensive tackle had played in 32 games throughout his career. He had three tackles in 11 games in 2019.

Important to note that the school wasn't participating in any athletics this fall
So, a case could be made, if there was football, he could be still alive, having not gotten the virus

1. The California University of Pennsylvania had canceled college football for the season.
2. The California University of Pennsylvania had gone entirely to online classes this semester.
This simply bolsters the argument that players are safer with the team rather than somewhere off campus.

They weren’t even practicing. Ironically, this is a black eye for those that helped support the cancellations

There goes football
If anythibg it shows how a structured environment that a football program would provide could prevent this

The blue check marks have been waiting for any athlete to kill over.
Does not matter what circumstances surround the death.

Did he die of just covid or did he have underlying health issues?

story sounds really bad on the surface but ultimately I also believe this to be true, to an extent.
