Given what's available, its as solid a pickup as they're going to get.
They need someone to spell Teague a little bit more, and Tyus Jones has shown a little wear down the stretch.
Without Butler, they're juggling more minutes around, as well, and Rose isn't exactly garbage as 6th/7th guys go.

Maybe he isn't garbage but he's nothing special. His name gives him far more media attention than his game performances. He's an inefficient player that has a low BBIQ and doesn't shoot well.
The greatest mistake Rose ever made was destroying his body over those few years to win an MVP instead of tailoring his game for a longer lasting career. Hopefully the guys coming into the league are taking notice. Doesn't matter how athletic you are.
