Dude could have been a superstar. Was a stat machine in Sacramento but had a terrible team and due to an unfortunate series of events, his career never really matched his natural ability. And now he’s getting released by the Lakers for a buyout guy. What an unceremonious way for his career to end.

I mean, is his career over..? And most of the reason shite has gone the way it has for him has been his attitude.

I’d say most of the reason is the torn Achilles, quad, & acl

CC has several players over 6’6”. And even more than that with 7’ wing spans.

Yeah, way more disappointing than other high draft picks like Willie Cauley Stien and Anthony Bennett.

Boogie and the brow? Those were the days to be a Pels fan. Nowadays, not so much.

If he would’ve stayed in NOLA he would’ve been able to rehab the whole season with a lucrative contract.

Instead he “was grown”... got cute and signed a vet minimum to win a ring with Golden State, who then actually needed him and rushed him back, he got injured, they rushed him back AGAIN, and now he’s damaged goods.

I guess he “bet on himself” and got unlucky, but how he dealt with leaving the Pels (who the entire fan base welcomed with open arms), frick em. K A R M A

If a team signs him this season, he is currently owed less than a million, the team would have non-Bird rights and could offer him a contract up to $4.2 million (or midlevel exception/cap space) as a free agent.

Yea, that’s be tough for any major athlete to recover from. Add in the mental part of it with Boogie and it’s a recipe for disaster

It's tough to overcome an Achilles injury with his size. He can't move very good anymore.

Couldn’t have happen to a more deserving shite bag. He has a shitty attitude and most his problems are self induced.
