35-14 Duncanville

I'm losing it. Allen has completely botched this last like 8 minutes of the first half

I still have not figured out Texas determine divisions one and two within Group 6. I guess rather than have one true champ the state is so big they want to get more people involved

It's by each district, the two largest schools in the playoffs go D1 and the other teams go D2.

But Allen is twice the size of Lake Travis and Travis is D1. I believe

Isn't this how they used to do it?

Like four teams make the playoffs, whomever has the highest enrollment of the playoff eligible teams goes D1?

That's how it used to be in 3/4A and below back in the day.

Again it's by district and it's not set at the beginning. So that's why one year the D2 champions were larger than the D1 champions. It all depends on who makes the playoffs from each district.

They still do in 6A, but all other classifications split up when the districts are established.

Ok yeah, that's dumb. And by that I mean how everyone else does it by splitting it up D1 and D2 beforehand.

The old way was much better, IMO.

Granted, I have never had to play a high school with 3K more kids than mine in a playoff game.

He’s a big time recruit. I think there was a question whether he will play QB at the next level but someone will do it. He would be great in an Auburn type offense I think

Duncanville won after scoring a TD and then forcing a safety.

44-35.

Sorry, I didn't think anyone was actually keeping up with it
