Kyle Tucker doing Kyle Tucker things in the playoffs I see

He wasn’t by himself, but yeah, he’s not a big fan of the game, and playing baseball makes him tired.

Dana Brown absolutely Sonny Weavered the Cubs GM with the Tucker trade.

Good to see George dragging nuts in the postseason. Hope it continues.

God wouldn't have us miss the playoffs and then put us through a Mariners-Dodgers world series would He?

Are you for serious right now?
Astros season is over.
I watched soap hockey and tag last night.
If George and Myles make it to the WS, I might watch a few innings. Otherwise, I'm just looking forward to February 12.

The playoffs have actually been great theater and enjoyable without the Astros involved
There has been some very good baseball mixed in with plenty futility and drama. Been nice not having a skin in the game, so to speak.
Obviously want the Dodgers to lose, but their lineup isn’t losing a 7 game series with the pitching they have left to face.
If you didn’t catch that wheel play that Muncy and Mookie executed on the SAC bunt attempt, you missed another big reason they will win
You can still be a fan of the game itself, as hard as that is sometimes

My brother in law is a Cubs fan. We were talking the other day about the playoffs and he was plotting out the Cubs best path, who'd be the best mstchups if they advanced. That's something I've looked ahead on in thr non Astros series.
I told him its weird to watch the playoffs largely neutral without a rooting interest either way. Yeah I'd like to see the Mariners and Dodgers lose but I'm not like on the edge of my seat over every pitch. Just watching the games as they play out.

I agree...and am glad I am not the only one who feels this way. Yeah, of course it is more fun when your team is in, but since we have a couple of rings, I am not despondent about us not making it in this year, given how the year played out.
It is much better than being a Yankee fan....team hasn't won shite in almost 2 decades, has expectations every year to win it all, and they continually fall short, often in excruciating ways.

I'll throw this out there with the casual, no rooting interest comments.
Don't get me wrong, I fricking hate the Dodgers. Maybe even more than NYY, maybe.
However, it has crossed my mind that them winning again, and maybe even a 3rd time next year, could be the momentum needed to get a salary cap. I don't WANT them to win, but it's not like what I want impacts the results. They surely seem to be the favorite at the moment.
IDK where everybody else stands on that but I think MLB suffers greatly because of the salary discrepancies, for a variety of reasons.

2 close friends that are diehards. Fly the W flag, etc.
Had they made it to the WS, we were bringing the wives to games in Chicago. Went back in '16. It was incredible experience, even losing 2 out of 3 and was glad they finally did it.
Much like the Saints winning the Super Bowl, it was a precursor for '17 for me. I could taste the catharsis.

The short series are usually pretty good. More intense. I grown to get bored with 7 games series in any sport.

Had to put down my best friend yesterday. He loved watching the games with me :(

Bro hug for you man. Hate to hear about people losing their best friends.
He, indeed, looked like a good boy.

Hate that for you, Brother. May he now run and play with all the ones that went before and be waiting for you on the other side.

I feel ya, man
In '05 during the WS in Houston, the wife and I picked out a Brittany Spaniel from a litter and went back and picked her up for Xmas for the kids.
Named her Astrobella. She brought us a WS win in '17 and her job was done. She passed the day after Xmas in her sleep.

They’re payroll & tax for the year is $550M
It’s over double what our payroll is.
Even the mighty spending Mets were only at like 420M

If tweet fails to load, click here. Former top 100 prospect absolute unit that throws really hard. Dreadful command and MLB numbers but low risk if they can unlock something.
