If you're counting along, that's 5 in a row.

It's comical how bad we own the Angels.

Going for the 4 game sweep today.

Kinda like when the Astros play the A's.

Last 3 starts, Jordan Lyles has a 1.90 ERA.

I do understand he is a bomb that could go off at any point though.

I think I read that George Springer had a HR and a 2B and 5 RBI's Sunday...........

in the 1st inning.

It's helpful when Colorado and LAA have left nearly a combined 70 on base over the last 7 games.

The opposite of clutch hitting.

Over the last seven games the Rockies and Angels have combined for 17/69 with RISP. That comes out to a .246 average while the league BA is .253. Doesn't seem outlandish to me.

Starting pitching has averaged 6.2 innings over their last 7 starts.

Combine that with Matty D's newfound power surge and solid bullpen action, and you've got 5 in a row.

Actually only 2 series wins in a row.

Swept by Oakland
Split 2 with the Rockies
Swept 2 with the Rockies
Going for 4 game sweep with the Angels

ETA: but we're 3-1-1 in the last 5 series.

Astros 3B Matt Dominguez has 15 hits in his last 75 at-bats (.200). But eight of those hits have been home runs.

Our schedule has actually been somewhat brutal. 8 of the 11 series we've played have been against teams with winning records. 4 of those 8 are at least 9 games above .500. 39 games against winning teams. 20 against losing teams. Against the winning teams we've gone 8-31. Against the teams with losing records we're 12-6.

anyone know how the year long Astro's moneyline bet is going?... gotta imagine this five game winning streak depleated the YTD.

Don't get me wrong I like Matty D. Consider that his glove was his calling card but there were questions on whether or not his bat would ever be worth anything. Id say its going pretty well seeing as hes 2nd on the club in homers and neck and neck with carter for the RBI lead. He could still be more consistent but its good to see his power coming around.

How many of those games against "winning" teams is because they played us?

I like the play and hope they continue to improve, so they're at least watchable
