Shelly helped right the ship last night. Julia is yesterday's news.

If he can bump that trade value up from nil to a box of Milk Duds, we'll take it.

Of course my wife was watching with me last night and when White came up I was bitching about how much he sucks.

Of course in that moment he hits homer and my wife now is convinced I’m not only wrong when we argue but in every aspect of life.

Got it. The website I looked at had the wrong pitchers listed.

On @SportsTalk790, Astros manager A.J. Hinch said George Springer will not play tonight against the White Sox.

"We feel like the weekend is very probable," Hinch said.

Well if Kemp is in LF, is Diaz at 2nd, or do we have to see Gurriel there with White at 1st again?

Hot take. Madison Bumgarner ain't it. You want to raise the stakes and change the game? I've got a solution that helps us this year and off sets the loss of Cole next year. He is called Thor.

I need Noah Syndergaard and Brent Strom together.

Ted and Corbin Martin for Syndergaard and Seth Lugo?

Yeah but he hasn't been babied by the LLC. Just need him healthy for October.

That said, I'll bring up Caleb Smith again. Lefty is killing it for the Marlins (64 Ks in 48 IP with 2.25 ERA), and I think they'll trade him in July. Cheap control until he's 31.

It's Bumgarner.

Just makes too much sense.

Might be the best postseason pitcher of all time.

And he's a lefty.

His numbers aren't bad for being on a team with no motivation.

He strikes me as the type of guy that just steps up when it's time.

Serves us better if his velo is down a bit now.

He's a Verlander, Jack Morris breed. I bet we see him put up some great numbers in late June-July.

I'm betting Fisher, Bawkake and a rookie ball guy is all it takes to get him.
