Also, Ducky Dotel was arrested in the DR for his “alleged” connection to an illegal drug ring:

Continuing the discussion from the other thread. My preference:

Up: Framber, Straw, Tucker
Down: Mayfield

That would be my choice as well High C. Straw isn’t the greatest middle infield replacement but he’s versatile enough to play there and as an outfielder. Tucker I’m sure can be a serviceable corner outfielder and maybe he’s had enough games at first to play there, I don’t know. What I do know is that I’m tired of seeing Reddick in the lineup. He’s not making enough outfield saves to make up for his putrid offensive production. The question is, what’s going on with Diaz. He was hospitalized because of those dizziness symptoms and no one has heard anything since.

Lastly, was there anything more to the last bit of news in last night’s thread about Jones being pulled from his game? Like Shane said, if they’re calling him up before tucker than this organization will have a lot of explaining to do as to why he’s such an untouchable piece when lesser talented guys are coming up instead of him and reddick keeps looking less and less like a major league batter.

Agree with both of yall. I'm trying to figure out how long Correa will be out now. Will it be the minimum 10 days or will it be longer? I'm thinking the latter since this isn't his first back issue.

I wonder if Peacock is slated to take Sanchez's place in the rotation....I am thinking not only because I don't know if Peacock is "stretched out" enough yet. He only threw 32 pitches last night.

Reddick needs to figure it out somewhere besides the astros lineup. This is every at bat:
1st pitch: strike. Looking
2nd Pitch: Strike. Swinging. Probably a ball
3rd Pitch: Ball
4th pitch: weak ground out if the pitch was a ball, weak fly out if the pitch was a strike.

His spidey hands routine for his 1 hit out of 20 ABs has gotten said

Tucker's value looks worse and worse with every shitty Reddick at bat. If he doesn't get called up with september expansion I'll be flabbergasted.

Astros are currently -550 today. Largest MLB favorite in a long time.

Take Detroit and lay the points. Always best to hedge it on both sides.

I love straw but this is very disappointing. We let go of some really good prospects who had a clear role for this club in the upcoming years to protect tucker.

If hes that good then bring him up and let him take his lumps when he has no pressure and we are not depending on him to carry the load.

I like Straw too but he is what he is. Straw isnt going to be a 35 HR 100 RBI guy and hes still not proficient enough at middle infield to justify his spot over Tucker imo.

Valdez brings nothing to the table. Other than his wheels, same with Straw. At least Mayfield's a real infielder.

Yep. Straw is a very interesting role player 4th outfielder guy that is a spark plug when the aircraft carrier guys need a day off. Hes had a chance and has proven his worth to the organization. Right now is the perfect time to slot Tucker in the 7th hole and take some lumps but get adjusted.

Is Tucker a defensive liabilty? Is he anchored to LF like Brantley? I don't understand the reticence to calling up Tucker.
