More Hinch: "Our offense when we're good, we have an attack mentality. We're not trying to see too many pitches, not trying to draw walks, not trying to be overly selective. We're in aggressive mode, and we haven't done that as much in the second half or since the break."

Are we watching the same games?

So Hinch hinted the other night that they could do a bullpen game when Lance's spot comes around on Tuesday. He hinted that thr "starter" was on the club. That was all conditional as to if the bullpen is taxed.

Well Peacock and McHugh both threw 20+ pitches. McHugh Friday and Peacock yesterday. I mean I guess you could do McHugh and Peacock for 1-2 innings and then have Cionel come in. Or just let Cionel start and see what happens.

Josh James started last night so he's out. Only other option at Fresno is Rogelio. He last pitched on Wednesday and isn't slated to start until Wednesday again.

Jeff Luhnow said Brian McCann catching Josh James last night at Triple-A was intentional. The Astros wanted McCann's intel on James, who could make a spot start this season and will certainly be placed on the 40-man as Rule 5 protection James was up to 100 mph, Luhnow said.

What a crappy fan base. The Coliseum is maybe half full. They should move that franchise somewhere where they can get a new ballpark and the fans actually give a shite.

Exactly right, Friday's epic had just 21K, Saturday you honor the 20 win streak team, and have a quick turnaround off epic win plus chance to reel in a tie vs WS Champs..still plenty of empty seats(though massive turnout by A's standards)..

Salt Lake or Portland, or Austin, or Nashville..may steal them one day?
