Naw. Offense will be ok. Dude for the White Sox pitched a hell of a game last night. In a 162 game season, even the best offenses are going to have games where the other pitcher stifles them.....the same way that you will have games where you wreck the ball and score 20+ runs. And Nova had been pitching his arse off the last month. You tip your cap and move on.

We just have to hope that the discomfort Cole and Bregman are experiencing won't require amputations....of the leg for Cole and the scapula for Bregman.

Bregman escaped near death and is back in the lineup.

Luhnow on Cole Injury: "At This Point I Don't Think It's Anything Major"

2 big things from this interview.

Cole doesn't believe this is serious. Has dealt with this before, just never in his right leg. Trainers also believe this is minor.

Lunhow is asked if Whitley will be called up this year. Lunhow basically said no. They would only bring him up if they thought he could help them in the playoffs and he said they are not seeing that out of him right now. He will likely pitch in the fall again and then see where things are for next year.

Maybe they’re figuring out that his lack of experience in the outfield outweighs reddick’s incompetence at the plate.

And the organization has concerns over Alvarez in the outfield. You move Brantley to right and he looks like that?

Cy sneed warming up in the top of the second. If Miley gets pulled for something then it’s time to fire the training staff.

Not kidding about him throwing. There’s no indication Miley was coming out but Kalas and Blum weren’t sure.

ETA: Miley still in. So maybe sneed just getting work in.

Geez that was lazy Correa. And upon further review, Gurriel whiffed.

This is some bullshite defense going on. Brantley whiffs on a line drive fly ball. Bregman bobbles a ground ball and yuli bails him out with a great scoop and now yuli misses a low throw from correa that goes into the dugout. This team lost focus after the blown save as they watch the Yankees demolish the orioles on the scoreboard.

To me, if there's serious concern about Reddick then you start the Tucker era. His ceiling is too high to limit yourself with Straw.
