Yankees def got better but I don't see how someone would like our chances a month ago with a healthy team to win the AL but not anymore
Cleveland and Boston have the same rotation and same lineups they did before
ETA: I suppose the counter argument would be that people were liking our chances a month ago cause they assumed we'd improve the roster at the deadline

If Keuchel is healthy
If McCullers is healthy
If McCullers becomes better than a back end starter again
If we find a reliable closer or late inning guy out of our staff
If suddenly the bullpen in general becomes better than a bottom tier pen
If we don't fall apart against ace or elite TOR pitchers

I don't usually pay attention to pitcher mechanics unless something is obvious but Fiers' arm slot looks lower than his usual over the top. This usually is the cause of his struggles, time for another come to Jesus for him.

We're in a funk right now. It'll be better when Springer comes back.

If the Yankee rotation pitches well
If Cleveland pitching stays healthy and hits
If someone besides Chris Sale pitches well for Boston.
We can go both ways on this

How many pages we at? You pull Keichle after three but leave No Fiers in after 4. wTF?

A month ago, McCullers wasn't falling apart, and our bullpen looked like a weak spot that could be remedied. Since that time, we have gotten owned by every elite pitcher we have faced, albeit with a weakened lineup due to injury (But Altuve on fire and Bregs playing well).

Health is something that has been assumed all along when talking about this teams chances to make a postseason run. No trades done yesterday would change that
You're right though. It's the most concerning thing for us going forward (lumping DK and LMJ pitching into health category)

Offense is dead again. Shut out by Nola, Shutout by Verlander, lifeless tonight against Archer.
Showing cracks without Springer and Correa

So I see that we are getting owned by another ace. Seems like it's been a common occurrence lately.
And I'm assuming Fiers started trying to throw the cutter and slider again today?

Most of June we were without Dallas and Lance weren't we? That's when Fiers and Peacock coming up big was so huge
April and May are really the only examples we have of this team fully healthy and we all saw what they can do. The big question is...can they all get healthy?

There were clowns wanting Bregman traded a month ago.
I'll let it all ride.

Research shows that an offense is going to show cracks without their 2nd and 3rd best hitters

I'm not as worried about NYY starters despite the Gray signing, but they absolutely did make up a lot of ground on us. My point is that we basically traded places with LAD at 1a. and 1b. during the summer, and then they clearly passed us way up. We are in the next tier with Cubs, Cleveland, NYY IMO. Just the way I see it I guess.

Oh you're absolutely right about LA separating themselves. Don't see how anyone can argue that
I'm moreso talking about our chances to win the pennant (yes I know WS should be the goal)
A healthy Cubs or Nationals ain't no cake walk for LA in the NLCS either

Nationals rotation is as banged up as ours now.
Really the wildcard (no pun intended) for me is Arizona in the NLDS. Their lineup is legit and got better and Greinke can go toe to toe with anyone.
