Did you guys see that the same dude caught Pena's and Yuli's HR balls in the same inning? One was on a rebound, but the other was a nice snag.

#ThatWasFun #LevelUp

(I hate the hashtags... the Astros need a better marketing team.)

Anyways, going for another series win this evening against Pivetta, who has a 5.08 ERA on the season.

I’m under the impression that the Astros have developed a new cheating system, peej.

Yes, definitely

But like Ty Cobb in Field of Dreams, Bregman was not invited to the meeting to discuss how it works

peej knows all about the new system. he is one of the paid participants. I'll let you decide which one.

Hopefully we can trade a lower draft pick and bag of chips for Eovaldi at some point. #levelup

Can't trade draft picks in MLB (except for competitive balance picks, which aren't low) so it'll have to just be a bag of chips. Maybe add in a few practice balls.

Can't really be mad at Dusty about that one.

I don't really get putting Diaz in the third spot, though. Yuli is swinging a hot bat! Or just move Yordan and everyone up a spot.

@Chandler_Rome

Jake Odorizzi said he feared he ruptured his Achilles tendon, but an MRI revealed only some strains and sprains of other ligaments around the ankle/foot. Odorizzi will return this season and said this is “best case scenario.” A timeline is unclear, but Odorizzi is off crutches

Still odd that he was stretchered off the fricking field

There is no mistaking a ruptured Achilles

It sounds like a .22

Odorizzi is an odd cat

Odorizzi said he felt a “large pop” when he came off the mound. He said the “stretcher made it look worse than it was.”
