The good ole boys did it again, somehow managing to score more runs than the other team. There was plenty of angst in the final innings as the Astros tried to hold on for dear life

But there were no whammies, and much to the delight of Chuck, the Astros won their 5th straight.

Lance is back on the mound and he has been brilliant with an ERA of 2.00 his last 4 starts.

The Rangers start Kyle Gibson, who last year allowed the Astros 0 runs in 15 IP. Time to figure him out and send the Rangers over the edge...

It's time to go get 'em Astros!

I’ll be there today. Haven’t been to MMP since 2019! Where is a good spot to pregame now that they got rid of our usual hangouts?

Biggio's is cool but pricey. If I have time I like to go closer to main and hit up flying saucer or Christians. Its still within walking distance. If you want to go a bit further check out the area in EADO. Truck yard, pitch, Woodrows, etc.

Thanks. Been to all of those but was hoping there was something closer I didn’t know about. Oh well... Go Stros!

Is this the dude with the beer gut who tried to catch the ball Tucker was going after the other night?

Enoli Paredes is active for the Astros today. José Urquidy is going on the IL.

Well, not ideal, but we knew he would miss a start anyway, so I guess it depends on if it’s retroactive

It was a given since they're off tomorrow and it can be retroactive like you said.

He could be back next Sunday but you know how cautious they are.

Alvarez resting today with an off day tomorrow.

I have an unhealthy hatred about this shite. A guy that probably sees a total of 30 minutes of game action per day and does not play defense needs a day off.

Nick Castellanos fist bumped a fan after a home run and then let the fan tell the broadcast why after the game

"I told Nick he should imagine Rob Manfred's face on the baseball."

So ridiculous. Dude is the DH, he should play every day.

It is, and if I were him, I would be pissed. Now, if he is allowed to pound beers and watch from the dugout I guess I couldnt be mad at him.
