Carpenter gets a second start after giving up six runs in five innings in his first Major League game of the year on Thursday against the Angels. Detroit needs a fifth starter to step forward with Jordan Zimmermann (right elbow UCL sprain) on the injured list.

Tucker homered today. Up to 11 for the season, just 4 shy of Yed.
Yed went 3-5 with 2 doubles. BA up to .403 and OPS 1.353

Safe to say IMO, we can’t keep both, and fill the necessary holes for the playoffs

I’m watching. Nice start so far. George set the tone with that very quality at bat. Correa crushed that homer. Diaz with a nice at bat Until he struck out without swinging..
