I've got a buddy on the Mariners' taxi squad getting the call up for tonight, we're pretty excited to go watch him play.

He's got the kind of stuff Yed might bounce off the moon though

“Look, man, in 1981, Tommy Lasorda batted Davey Lopes leadoff because he was fast. He didn’t care he had a .206 batting average or a .284 on-base percentage. Tommy told me the leadoff guy should always be the fastest guy on the team. We didn’t care about batting average or on-base percentage back then, O-P-S didn’t even exist and I don’t care about any of that now. Now, pass me that blunt while I write Myles Straw’s name in the leadoff spot because he’s the fastest guy on the team.”

Yed got 93 chest high in the middle of the plate yesterday and fouled it off. Lot of pitches like that he's not getting around on lately. I hope your boy solves that problem.

Yea hopefully he gets to pitch tonight. If it happens I'll be sure to let the DAT know about it

Sounds like it is minor looking at some of the beat reporters tweets, Odo said he'd be able to pick up a baseball in the next couple of days and the MRI came back clean.

Very good news

Has anyone heard anything recently re: Framber or Baez?

Think our bullpen can be a little more dependable once Baez gets back and if we put Emmanuel in there

Jake Odorizzi said he thinks he could pick up a baseball in the next one or two days and, if everything goes according to plan, he thinks he could probably get off the mound again in Tampa Bay this weekend.

Odorizzi the optimist?
