Make it 106 to numb the pain from 2019 a bit, please.

Would have been nice to have some Verlander cut ins on the ESPN family of networks last night. What he’s done this year is infinitely more impressive than that giant mongoloid in NYC, but we’re just butthurt for saying it.

After pissing away a no hitter in the 9th inning I wouldn't put anything past the stupid mfer Baker.

Hopefully the GM or the weak arse Crane had the courage to chastise Baker to his face.

Stupid shite like last night is why this team won't win WS title this year.

I just don't understand the logic of "No hitter? Meh. Our worst arm needs work tonight and in the 9th only."

Has the giant mongoloid been WADA tested ? I wouldn't put anything pass MLB and the Yankees to prop this up.

I did my part to take a shot at rangers fans and set the tone for unnecessary over-the-top trash talk in the playoffs

its like game 162, absolutely pointless but its fun to win

Mariners and Jays announced Castillo and Manoah as game 1 starters. That would put them in line to start game 2 of the ALDS on Thursday. I'm not sure of the Jay's plans yet but Mariners side has hinted at Robbie Ray in game 2 which would either lineup Logan Gilbert for Game 3 or Game 1 in Houston if they sweep. If they go 3, I assume it'll be George Kirby in game 1.

I'll dig into the Blue Jays rotation plans. I'm guessing Manoah and Gausman 1/2 and probably Berrios 3 but I'll see what I can find.

Berrios has been pretty terrible. I’m interested to see what they do. The Jays are scary but the depth behind their top two is the big hole

I'm not positive, but I think his success has a lot to do with his "extra chromosome" strength.

Looking through some Twitter discussions, consensus from Jays fans is they would want Ross Stripling to start game 3 as his numbers are way better than Berrios.

Stripling 3.01 ERA in 134 innings
Berrios 5.23 ERA in 172 innings

So if that's the case it's Berrios after a 3 game series or Stripling after a 2 game sweep.

Either way we are rooting for 3 long extra inning games

Gausman has good numbers, but he’s been pretty inconsistent. I’m afeared of the Jays lineup more.

So all that put together, best guesses at pitching Matchups

If Mariners sweep

Game 1: Gilbert vs Verlander
Game 2: Castillo vs Framber
Game 3: Javier/Lance vs Ray
Game 4: Javier/Lance vs Kirby
Game 5: Gilbert vs Verlander

Mariners in 3 games

Game 1: Kirby vs Verlander
Game 2: Castillo vs Framber
Game 3: Javier/Lance vs Ray
Game 4: Javier/Lance vs Gilbert
Game 5: Kirby vs Verlander

If Blue Jays sweep

Game 1: Stripling vs Verlander
Game 2: Manoah vs Framber
Game 3: Javier/Lance vs Gausman
Game 4: Javier/Lance vs Berrios
Game 5: Stripling vs Verlander

Blue Jays in 3

Game 1: Berrios vs Verlander
Game 2: Manoah vs Framber
Game 3: Javier/Lance vs Gausman
Game 4: Javier/Lance vs Stripling
Game 5: Berrios vs Verlander

Question for us, Javier or Lance in Game 3? Javi has been on a run lately but Lance has pitched well too and has a ton of post season experience with that bulldog mentality.

I’d say Javi but I wonder if they will decide based on if we’re up 2-0, tied 1-1, or down 2-0

Astros Gm 3 starter will depend on the state of the series at the time

up 2-0
tied 1-1 Framber

down 0-2 Lance

I don’t think so. I think Framber is game 2 no matter what. I think it will be Lance game 3 based on experience, but I certainly wouldn’t be upset if it was Javier.

Well shite. I was just looking at prior schedules for the 4 game DS days. They like to alternate AL and NL starts. Working backwards as we know the Dodgers and Yankees will be prime time games. NL Dodgers get the 8:30 slot, AL Yankees get the 6:00 start, NL Bravee 3:30 slot which leaves us with our traditional 1:00 ALDS home game.
