Well, I think a lot of us would be with you. Dusty has had success with a lot of teams. But he’s overstayed his welcome at every stop and left that organization worse than when he found it.

He has to go. And so does Maldonado and so do several relievers. And I think someone nailed it earlier. We need a center fielder, a legit closer, and an upgrade at one of the corner infield spots.

I will say Espada has interviewed or been rumored for manager openings basically every year since 2019. It’s been crickets this year. Maybe that’s because his time has passed or because he’s seen as the next manager here

I haven't clicked "return to board" yet guys. Do I want to go out there? I haven't opened the main board in hours.

It’s not that bad. People thinking they are dunking on Astros fans

TigerOnTheMoutain is melting down again for some reason and WCA did his legitimate champions joke 12 times

I wouldn’t recommend it.

Back to tonight’s game…bigger disappointment 1) Dusty managerial moves like leaving in JP 3 batters too long or 2) 2 for 14 RISP

Both. And both were predictable.

4-31 with RISP at home this series.

So what does Dusty do? Nothing. No change in approach. No switching out guys not producing. Just same same as if it’s magically going to go away

Peña Tucker Brantley and Moldy all batting under .200

Genuine question from a neutral observer

How are DAT’ers so convinced this is the end of the Dusty era? If he’s as egotistical as it seems, why wouldn’t he wait until they push him out the door? Championship last year and one win away from another World Series this year, run it back one more time could be easily sold to casual fans

It was a one year contract and there was a lot of rumblings down the stretch about the front office being annoyed with his handling of the catchers spot.

I don’t think there’s any ways he’s back, outside looking in he burnt some bridges with his bullshite this year and they’ll let him walk

I thought the window and org was done in 2020 when all the news came crashing in.

Going to 4 more LCS, 2 more World Series and winning a World Series has been epic.

Haters gonna hate

So tonight's dazzling 2-14 puts us under just under .200 with RISP for the 7-22 stretch of home baseball.

51-256 (.199)

Dusty Baker said tonight he would take some time to think about his future. Quietly, he’s been telling people inside the organization and out that he’s planning to make 2023 his last year managing.
