The ESPN2 announcers sure are bobbin' on the knob of some Atlanta Braves' prospect right now.

It's like I'm watching WTBS in 1990.

Well Giles just gave up a bomb to a former LSU slap hitter in Stevenson. I still don’t trust him. You have to be up 3 runs or more with him in and you still have to bite your fingernails.

Lance McCullers Jr. has a 0.50 ERA this spring. @Astros 3.02 team ERA is baseball's best. Astros rotation 1.59 ERA is also No. 1.

Obviously spring training stats, but this is exciting

Giles looked real good today (if you take away the HR).

When he does that squatting maneuver on the mound too many times, you know he is about to give up a hit (or worse). See his mannerisms during ALCS Game 1 (lights out) [not Lidge] versus WS Game 2. More squatting in WS Game 2, more blown save.

This on sooo many levels. You can see it in his body language when he's not confident about the next pitch he's going to throw. Feels as if multiple times this postseason I found myself saying 'shite' before the pitch was even thrown.

I think the plan is to bat the pitchers and DH for McCann

Speaking of which, I am really impressed w Fisher's dedication to the team. He is doing his part in getting Tucker on the roster ASAP

Today's camp notes:
-Hoyt has a nagging injury, so Sipp is locked in as our final bullpen guy.
-Kemp is making a push to make the roster. I would assume this is at the expense of Fisher if it happens.

Hunch intimating that Kemp could win a spot over fisher to start the year.

Sipp makes the team Due to injury to hoyt.
