Surprising, but not huge news in college baseball. NUs new AD will have picked a new head coach for all 3 marquee men’s program while on the first 18 months of the job. That can’t have happened often before

Probably the right time. Hasn’t really grown the program that much since he’s been there. Have the money and resources to be better.

PLEASE don't take Childress. How would A&M EVER recover...

The clear choice is Tom Emanski. Might be able to get Fred McGriff as an assistant.

Closest I can think of is Vince Tyra, who took over as AD for Tom Jurich at Louisville, hired a new Basketball coach (Chris Mack) and football coach (Scott Satterfield) all within about a year span

Be brought stability and respectability to the program from when he started. I don’t think he was the man to get us back in the picture nationally at any point

He did it in the Big 12.
Leaving the Big 12 hurt Nebraska baseball.

He brought them back from 3 straight losing seasons... This will probably end up being a mistake on their part
