Sounds like Oregon got their man with a "team vote". Only head coaching experience was with Fl Int having a losing record. O line coach. Sounds so much like the Lsu hire lol.

I'm sure Oregon fans would be ecstatic with a 9 win regular season next year. Might get then into the conference championship in the PAC.

And a bowl game against Notre Dame with a chance at a top 10 finish in the rankings. Who wouldn't want that besides idiot Rantards.

Well they've had a few really shitty seasons in a row. Way worse than our 8 or 9 wins/season with Miles the past few years. LSU fans would be excited about a 9 win season coming off of a 4 win season too.

What is with Taggert's wanderlust?

It will be Taggart's third program in three seasons.

He was at Oregon, not FAU. All that Nike money, the Death Star?

I mean it's like he's flipping houses. Accept a job, clean it up quickly and then move on.

I thought Norvell would of been the perfect hire.

He brings an offense the fans would love to watch, and has proven he can win.

Norvell must be waiting for the right gig

I mean I don't think he's done anything too crazy here. Was at USF 4 years. Got a promotion to Oregon. Then a year later 2 of the big 3 Florida schools open up and he has a shot to head back home and takes it.

Taggert left Oregon, you didn't get the memo?

After 1 season.

1 damn season. Are you kidding me?

2016 South Florida
2017 Oregon
2018 FSU

What the hell?

Settle some roots

Dude makes Bobby Petrino look like the most committed man in America.

He moved up in clout each time though... USF and Oregon are springboard schools(obviously more so USF, but Oregon isn’t a top ten job IMO probably 12-17ish range because of Nike but, it’s not even in the same bracket of a job like FSU IYAM) that most coaches have to stay at for atleast a couple years before they make the jump to a really high profile job(like Florida State...)

Willie has done what most coaches can only dream about if he parlays a single solid year at Oregon after a solid stay at USF into a jump to Florida fricking State.

I, for one, salute the hell out of mister Taggert...this is a “put down roots” type of job not USF and not ducking Oregon

Oregon has been to more Nattys than FSU recently and whipped them in the playoffs.

And better facilities.

FSu isn't even old money. It's new money under with one guy who retired awhile ago.

Before that it was a Finishing school for girls.

I know he loves FSU so that must be the reason.
