I was looking back at the changes made in college sports as far as Conference Realignment over the past few years and what teams have seemed like a natural fit and what teams still feel a little out of place.

Best fit
I would say Colorado in the Pac12 followed by TCU in Big 12.

Worst fits
West Virginia in the Big 12 still doesn't make any sense to me, it's easily the worst move IMO.
Utah from a geographic standpoint seemed fine, but the Utes in a major conference still seems strange to me.

Nebraska and Texas A&M have both been pretty natural transitions, Mizzou has been Ok.

Thoughts?

Yeah, a lot of people say CU just doesn't care enough to be in the PAC. But, the hippie culture fits, I guess.

Homey is going to be mad about the WV comment. It looked good for football at first, but watching a Kansas/WV hoops game, I was like this makes no sense whatsoever.

In hindsight the WVU move was the best of any of the schools, jst look at the Big Least now. While in terms of outcome easily TAMU to SEC, and worst being the entire Big East. To me Mizzou, Colorado, and TCU are all equal in what they brought to their respective conferences.

They were begging to get into the B1G first (especially when Nebraska got kicked out of the AAU).

I don't think Nebraska is a great fit.

Also, Maryland is a terrible fit in the B1G

I am pretty positive all the teams that moved conferences did it for financial reasons, which is completely understandable. I was simply stating that watching West Virginia compete in the Big 12 as opposed to the Big East is just strange, especially in basketball.

Best moves:
1. TCU to Big 12. After 16 years and three different conferences (four if you count their non-entry into the Big East) they finally got into a major conference. Then proceeded to knock off Texas in Austin, give OU fits at home, and nearly took the Fulmer Cup!
2. A&M to SEC. After nearly two decades of trying to get in, but being stymied by in-state politics, it finally happened. Most importantly they did it alone, not as part of a package deal with Texas.

Worst move:
Utah to PAC-12. They were an afterthought from the beginning (a replacement for the failed Big 12 South relocation attempt which A&M ruined ) and proceeded to go downhill from there.

Jury still out:
West Virginia to Big 12. If the ACC collapses and some Eastern Time Zone teams move to the Big 12 they'll be OK. Otherwise their travel budget will be clobbered for years.

false

this was our biggest revenue ever brought in we were only in the red b/c of the buy out from the BE. Once we get a full share from the Big12 we will be caking. The growing pains in football wont last that long and this years hoops team is the worst huggs has had in morgantown talent wise we would have got crush in BE hoops
