The #Colts have held strong with their pursuit of #Patriots OC Josh McDaniels and that is expected to be his choice when an offer comes, sources tell me and @TomPelissero.

Must feel pretty confident that Luck will be healthy.

Unless the difference in money is just obscene, he might want to think long and hard about the Titans.

If Luck can get right, that is a solid hire. Hope they did not give him control of everything though.

Not with a healthy Andrew Luck it is not.

I mean the Dolphins and the Colts should be much better next year now they get their starting QB's back.

Well the Titans fired their coach after making it to the divisional round of the playoffs

And the Colts fired Chuck Pagano 3 seasons later than they should

And they have Andrew luck, which I assume he received some assurances about his health

Why would he go to Indianapolis when Tennessee is open? Tennessee has loads more talent up and down the roster, not even to count how much more stable the ownership situation is.

What????

Tennessee has a defense, a good running game, some young WR's, and a decent QB....

It is a much better situation than the Colts even with Luck

Are you serious?

Titans have all the assets they could want on offense, just needs much better coaching there.

Defense needs more players along with better coaching, but so does Indy big time.

I don't pretend to know as much about the Colts as I do the Titans, but seems to me TN is a far better situation at this time.

A healthy luck is worth a lot more than any other talent Tennessee could offer

And aren't the Titans in an ownership limbo right now after Bud adams death?

Nope. Not with that contract and what appears to be a pretty meh roster that needs a rebuild

Even if that's true, that's a pretty big "if" for a guy that hasn't been healthy in three years and nobody seems to have an idea of his status currently.

Nah the drop off from Luck to Marriota is not as big as the drop off from the Titans run game to the Colts, or Titans defense to the Colts.

Exactly. Is anybody putting it past Irsay to simply lie to McDaniels about Luck's health?

That division, which has generally been pretty weak, could be TOUGH in 3 or 4 years.

Colts with McDaniels
Jaguars looking great this year
Texans with a QB of the future and some solid pieces
Titans with a pretty talented roster and solid QB

I remember in 07 when the Texans went 8-8 and finished last. Indy was incredible with Peyton and Tennessee and the Jags both won 10+

Why would anyone want to voluntarily work for Jim Irsay?
