The biggest head scratching comment comes from Colts General Manager Chris Ballard:

"I think Frank testing positive and showing no symptoms shows (vaccination) works," Ballard said. "It's a shame in our country right now that we've politicized something good."

Wouldn't not contracting the virus be the indication that the vaccine works?

Here's the link to the ESPN story:

Again a positive test only means you have tiny fragments of viral RNA in you. Not necessarily that you are infected and spreading it

We wouldn’t be getting so many of these if the selfish people who won’t get vaccinated would stay home if they’re not wearing masks so that they won’t spread it.

But remember…my right to be a selfish prick is more important than the rights of EVERYBODY ELSE to not contract the virus.

Then why not have a different designation instead of "Positive" when the public at-large equates that with infected and capable of spreading?

This is America. If you want to be a douche that is part of freedom as long as you arent breaking laws

Otherwise we continue our slide towards authoritarianism

Because you cant differentiate with a test.

Then obviously from a reporting standpoint this is problematic.

We just saw John Rham test positive again and will miss the Olympics. Only 8 weeks ago he had COVID and was fully vaccinated. We all might as well buckle up for a healthy dose of COVID protocol again this season.

It will be unreal if that technology ever comes out. An invisible force field shield that keeps particles from entering ones body

Hey look, a selfish prick who demands you take a drug on FDA emergency approval, wear a face diaper or never leave your house.

My goodness is the NFL screwing this up.

He's vaccinated, showing zero symptoms, and yet he still has to be quarantined with the team releasing a statement making headlines.

Stop testing people who are not sick, especially if vaccinated. This is madness.

You mean like back in July of last year and Jan of this year. How did that work out?

the Rahm situation only highlights how ridiculous these testing protocols are. The guy is literally at the top of his game. He's 100% healthy. He's vaccinated. He's had two PCR tests come back positive which shows those tests are doing a horrible job at identifying people who actually have an active infection.

Stop testing healthy people. It sickens me knowing this madness is coming to college football as well.

Just go ahead and cancel everything from October to March from now on because half the population doesn't go get their annual flu vaccine either.

The kids are reporting in a few days for fall camp. Times running out. The NFL is getting tough on their players and coaches about vaccination. The Olympics are fanless and athletes have been sent home.

Sounds like we are in for the same song, second verse.

How do you tell if someone is infected and spreading it?

It's a lot more than half.
