she is a smart basketball mind, won the summer league title a few years ago. i would have 0 issues with her as the head coach of my basketball team.

I watched half of a women's game a couple days ago, and I was so impressed by the half-court sets and in-bounds plays that were run. Maybe I'm just used to just watching Georgia where we don't move on offense, but I think the lack of athleticism makes a lot of women's coaches think more about offensive sets and run better plays. Would be interesting to see if it adjusts to the men's game.

"Let's Go Rammin"... with Becky Hammon!

Perfect chant for a program with phallic symbols in their gym.

Also, are the male players going to respect her? She has no significant "skins on the wall" to show her players or potential recruits to gain respect automatically.

You make it sound like CSU was going to bring in Bobby Knight or some reasonably big name. What coach is CSU going to hire with "significant skins on the wall". CSU isn't able to hire someone who gains respect automaticaly. You seem to imply that players will respect a coach hired from the patriot leauge because he won the leauge once just because he is a male.

Woof. I would laugh if she came to my house trying to recruit me. I’ll be like get this troll out of my living room before somebody sees her here.

Definitely can. And maybe can coach men but it is a risk
I’m sure she can organize a practice offense and defense but coaching the spurs (professional adults) is different than coaching 18 year old college students. Instead of having consummate professional tim Duncan to shut up the immature guys you have a room full of immature kids.

Definitely will be interesting to watch

You seem to imply the players will respect her simply for the novelty of being a woman and how progressive it is.

I don’t understand how you can have a female coach in a men’s locker room. Just seems like a really really bad idea.

Wonder if there are any adult films based on this premise. I'll check later on.

We have men coaches in a female locker room and it isn't a problem for the vast majority of them

No, you are just trying to fit my comment into some SJW, liberal, progressive etc. narrative. I never once said she would get respect for being a woman.

Getting respect without skins on the wall is a problem for any coach and getting automatic respect is reserved for upper tier coaches. These two problems will be faced by most if not all coaches CSU is looking at hiring. Will Wade didn't get instant respect at LSU he had dismiss and suspend almost half the team during SEC play.

I have no problem with it, only thing is, I dont doubt a woman's ability to know the game. I just worry if she will be able to get thw players to really respect her. That is a major part of coaching.

Women are more mature than a group of 18 year old guys who have one thing on their mind 99% of the time.
