I was torn between putting that game or West Virginia @ Oklahoma State or TCU @ Texas

I let my bias take over

Does it even matter what sport it is with these two?

Notre Dame plays Wisconsin at Lambeau week 5. That's a much better game than any on that list.

I would add Oregon vs North Dakota State for week 1

NDSU is supposed to have a legit top 5 prospect at QB and they aren’t gonna go in there scared.

Why is Auburn and Arkansas switched on LSU's schedule this year?

No OSU @ PSU? 247 had that as the #1 game of the season (I'm not sure I agree at all but it is what it is)

Also a sneaky good game is Michigan/Washington week 1. Those are both teams who are in that 9+ wins a season category and could be a statement for the PAC early if they can win both that and the Oregon/OSU game

Edit: see you have talked about the Mich game above a bit

I think the SEC is trying to balance the schedule more for TV. Instead of the traditional week 12 vs FCS that most were doing, some big games got moved around.

LSU-Auburn and Bama-A&M were moved to week 12

Tennessee-Georgia was moved to week 11

might not be super compelling but UGA vs. UVA week 1 (monday) in a match-up of conference runner-ups is a pretty legit game.
