Anything that says Clemson is the 2nd best team is worthless. Maybe they are but they haven’t shown it at all.

Teams 2 through 5 are very close and could change as more polls come in.

3.52 (Clemson, 2nd) to 4.59 (Alabama, 5th)

Everybody making this determination has not watched Clemson the past 3 weeks. Clemson has had one close game all year and boat raced everyone else. Our offensive and defensive numbers are on par with last year.

I welcome the disrespect of Clemson this year. They needed it after everyone crowned them this offseason.

I’m guessing of the top-ish teams we have one of bigger splits between Massey and SP+. 14 here, 6 in SP+. Oddly, we’ve been right in the middle in the very unscientific coach’s poll and ap poll.

Would this topic be posted if OSU wasn't on top?

No.

Quit begging for attention. OSU is good. Just not top 2

Massey is all fricked up. The individual polls listed are updated, but the Composite uses the old rankings. Take Dolphin Pred for example. Massey has Wisconsin @ 4 there, but they're 16th in the actual poll.

Clemson may be good but when your best win is TAM we just don’t know.

OSU may be very good but they have one good win and obviously even that one is not as good as it would have seemed after Wisc lost to Illinois.

Clemson was up 21 pts with 3 seconds left against A&M until a garbage time TD. They’ve beaten everyone else except UNC by 30+. The most points scored against the D is 20. All of their team stats are equal or better to last year except interceptions....which no team has turned into points.

Has there ever been a worse schedule?

Not their fault but it is embarrassing

The worthless bowls comeback just shows how right I am.

No one thinks the SEC teams that are playing in those crap bowls are any good.

Yea Clemson is getting it together. They haven't done it all season so it makes a bit of sense they aren't getting the love yet. They are starting to take care of business for sure
