As the Dodgers completed a series sweep at Coors Field Sunday night with a 12-6 rout of Colorado, Bellinger slugged his MLB-leading seventh home run for his 18th RBI. Since RBIs began being tracked in 1920, the only other player with seven homers and 18 RBIs in the first 10 games of a season was Willie Mays in 1964, according to Elias Sports Bureau.

Bellinger is batting .455 with a 1.512 OPS. And he has only six strikeouts in 44 at-bats (13.6 percent) after striking out 27 percent of the time last year.

Bellinger home-to-first in 3.84 seconds, 30.7 ft/sec sprint speed.

3.84 sec is elite: 14th best in MLB this year, behind guys like Hamilton, Bader, DeShields.

30.7 ft/sec is very elite. MLB avg is 27, and 30 is the greatness line. Incredible athlete

Most impressive to me is he is now shortening his swing with 2 strikes and extending his at bat.

If Bellinger can keep the Ks down he can be deadly with the amount of power he can generate. Good to see him adjust his approach with 2 strikes so far, more guys need to do that in this day and age

I enjoy watching Bellinger, he's taken that next step and his defensive versatility is a huge asset as well. But his swing isn't close to arguably the most beautiful. He bails out to his pull-side each time he swings. It's a testament to his strength that he's still able to drive the ball the other way but he is by all means an exception to the rule when it comes to swing mechanics.

He's incredibly streaky and he's quite overrated. Starting now dude will probably hit .100 for the next month.

He’s probably one of the most naturally talented baseball players right now. If anything he’s underrated

His 2 awful performances (high K rate) during the World Series have left a bad impression on the national audience, but this is a guy that hit 36 homers as a rookie.

Pitchers will eventually learn throwing down and in to a guy with a hack uppercut swing is a bad idea.

In two full seasons he’s hit .265 and averaged 30 homers. If anything he’s underrated because of his perception in the World Series. We
