Them having a weak schedule wouldnt matter as long as the committee and humans wouldnt be so retarded about your amount of losses is pretty much the only thing that matters instead of who you have actually beaten

Oh well then I guess we should commend Boston College for scheduling Kansas too yes?

The last time Kansas won more than 3 games was in 2009 when they went 5-7.

Yeah, everyone talks about protecting the value of the regular season by not expanding the playoffs and then most teams play 1-3 meaningful games during the regular season. With a few SEC teams playing 3-7 meaningful games.

do you want me to look up kansas' record in my lifetime? sans one random year 12 season ago, they have been reliably terrible

They've only been above .500 8 times since 1980.

I'm aware they are not good recently and are, by far, the worst P5 school

if y'all want, toss Kansas out and my point still remains

What do you want them to do about it?

Their division opponents have to hold up their end of the deal too and try to be good.

and i mean, they could absolutely find a better p5 opponent than south carolina year in year out. i get they wont cause of rivalry or whatever, but i wouldnt be propping them up much for either

Gotta give props to Clemson for sticking with their rivalry.

They didn't schedule ND, dumbfrick. ND has to play 4 ACC teams to be allowed in the conference for other sports.

Nothing

I want the committee though to not just plug them in there simply by going undefeated

You can knock them when they have two P5 non conference games, no matter how much their conference schedule sucks.

Akron is a bottom 5 Power 5 team, and playing the Citadel speaks for itself. The OOC is mediocre and the conference schedule is trash.
