I remember back in the day when all the other conferences bitched about SEC dominance and why the SEC gets all these home games and I would tell them "we pack the stadiums so we dictate where the games are played". Now here we are to the point where the arms race of college football has left the PAC-12 behind because fans don't attend their games.

If I'm OU's AD, I would've figured out a way to load up as many buses + non-stop trains from Norman to L.A. & have given every single full time student free tickets (paid for by OU Ath. Dept).
Would've offered premium charter buses + tickets to fans/alumni.
Talk about an absolutely amazing PR move to travel across the country & completely take over an opponent's home stadium.
The media attention alone would be worth the investment for atheltics + admissions.

Reminds me of that SAINTS game I attended in the 1970's. Had 2 extra tickets so I called all my friends and they were all "busy". When I parked I left the extra tickets under my wiper blades. After the game, I came back to my car and found 4 tickets.

Better hit the road tonight than
OU fans travel and it’s a national fan base bc so many people leave the state and never come back. That and a frick ton of people from DFW go there. I expect the flights from DFW to LA to be nothing but OU fans the next few days.

Yeah, there are actually a shite load of OU fans in LA. Probably more there than anywhere outside of Oklahoma and Texas.
