They are suspending him for leaving the field before the game was over. He thought he was going to be ejected so he left the field. When they told him he wasn't ejected he came back to the field without wearing socks.

He just assumed he was kicked out of the game for throwing the flag in the stands so he went to the locker room. He actually came back out to the sidelines before the game was over.

When I first saw that I died laughing. I’m surprised I’ve never seen anyone do it before. The ref looked like he’d never seen it before either.

I could swear either Bart Scott or Terrell Suggs did this a few years ago. It was a primetime game too.

It was Terrell Suggs vs the Pats in MNF, I think it was the year the Pats went undefeated and it was a close game

The ref pointed to where he wanted him to throw it, he was just following instructions.
