Y’all can talk all the shite you want, but no city takes this kinda attention during the game like New Orleans. The NFL puts New Orleans in the forefront when it’s here because it’s a great fricking city when it’s doing things well and it’s a special place culturally.

I’ve never understood the fawning over the uniqueness of New Orleans music and culture. I’m convinced it’s one of those things everyone says because they think they have to but nobody actually believes it. A bunch of overweight black dudes playing jazz while gyrating just isn’t as notable as so many pretend it is.
