CHC Thread (4/10) Cubs 7 DBacks 3 / F Cubs Win!!

-The Cubs (4-1) took Game 3 by the score of 4-2. Kyle Hendricks (6.2IP 4H 2ER 1BB 5K) was strong in his first outing and the combo of Warren & Rondon pitched 2.1 innings of hitless ball, with Rondon picking up his 1st save. Cubs look to make it 3 out of 4 in the desert before heading back to Chicago for the home opener on Monday vs Cincinnati.

Really excited/nervous to see what Lackey is going to do.
Something of note: The Cubs scored 15 runs in the 2 game mini series against the Angles and did that with no hits from Bryant, Schwarber, and Russell!
At first glance, you'd like to have had those guys contribute but it also shows how deep this team is. The 3 will come around.

While it's been great seeing Szczur do his think, i'd really like to see jorge out in left field. The longer it goes without happening, the more worried i am that he's a butcher out there.

I do not disagree, but let's re-evaluate this in a week or so. The first two games were not normal (having a DH spot and rewarding Szczur salad for Nova's title).

Does anyone else listen to the Ivy Envy podcast?
I started at the end of last season and picked it back up this week and I honestly can't decide if I like it,. Part of me thinks "well this is an easy way to stay on top of some talking points and think about some things that might not have occurred to me." cause they do go in depth and seem to know what's going on.
BUT the other part of me thinks "why should i give a shite about the opinions of these random midwestern doofuses*?". Then again, that's pretty much the definition of every talking head on tv, so....
*I did look it up, that's the plural, not what I wanted it to be, which is of course "Doofi". A much better word, really.
