Kyle Schwarber is mashing at Iowa. He went 3 for 5 yesterday with two 2B and a HR. So far, he's hitting .358/.414/.642/1.055 with 7 2B, 1 3B and 2 HR...but, 5 BB and 18 K...that's sort of Bryant-like, but I don't remember Schwarber being as K-prone as Bryant. At any rate, he's producing and excelling at AAA albeit in 15 games. Maybe the BB and K will level out as he continues to work on his catching for another month (which just seems silly to me).
Arismendy Alcantara had 3 singles yesterday and his average is up to .257. He's 6 for his last 12.
Let's win this series.
