ETA: What's your criticism for moving the franchise from St. Louis to LA? I'd love to read that.

They can do as they see fit, I'm just pointing out that the numbers aren't good.

tickets sold =/= butts in seats

yes it was a nice novelty that sold tickets... but obviously as the team sucked the people stopped coming

obviously winning cures all ills... so both the Rams and Chargers better win soon... or it's going to be the summer of 1995 all over again

Attendance is great. TV rating not so good.

It's a terrible team in a new city. Only a fool would expect the numbers to be great from the start.

whowhat?

any team, terrible or great should always see good numbers its first year in a new city. Dont be silly, guy.

True. But tickets sold = revenue.

I don't see how it's a bad move for the Rams. They had terrible attendance in St. Louis. Option A: be a shitty franchise with shitty attendance in St. Louis. Option B: be a shitty franchise with above average attendance in Los Angeles.

Everyone keeps repeating that like it's true. Back it up, guy.

Check out the attendance stats for when the Oilers moved to Nashville. You're not gonna find what you think you'll find.

It's their ranking. You couldn't figure that out?

ETA: That's all the time I have to play around with you fools today. Maybe you'll get another franchise some day. There is always hope. Jk. No one is going back there.

as I said... the tickets were sold since the Rams were a new novelty

when they sucked... people stopped going

the question will become... if the Rams (and now Chargers) don't improve and fast... will ticket sales be anywhere near the same?

I highly doubt it

Year 1 was a novelty... now they need to make it stick or Los Angelenos won't care

What's the downside of moving to LA?

I'll sign off with that last question.

Finished the season dead last in attendance

The Thunder also were third last in attendance in their first season in OKC.

LA has already had 2 chances with the NFL (at least) and failed
