It was obvious, and please don't argue this, attendance was FREE FALLING in the 2nd half of the season.

Attendance after week 8:

86k
83k
82k
83k
80k

FREE FALLING!

Still averaged a sellout of the largest NFL stadium... with the Rams.

. And thats STILL nothing to brag about. You have 16 million people in the area. Saying you got 80k to a 90k stadium is laughable in many ways.

Even LA's bff says otherwise. According to ESPN LAR averaged 74,121?

Just because a city has a huge population doesnt mean they will care about the NFL

Los Angeles is mostly Mexicans and snobby upper class whites who don't care about the NFL. It's NBA, MLB, Soccer.

You can leave it wherever you want.

Facts:
- averaged 80k+
- St. Louis lost an NFL franchise because attendance was a fricking joke

It's hilarious that a St. Louis resident is knocking LA for attendance. Do we need to review the attendance in St. Louis?

You've really got a hard on for defending the NFL.

There is no positive way to spin the numbers for the Rams this season, especially if you consider this is their first year and teams always get a boost from that.

The Rams got pathetic TV numbers in LA as well. There were quite a few weeks where they weren't even in the top 2 local TV ratings, and at least one week where USC got a higher local rating than the Rams.

Are you kidding? 2nd highest per game attendance. Well that was an easy way to spin the numbers.

Want to provide any proof for that? Because if you look into the numbers when the Titans first moved to Nashville, you won't find what you think you'll find.

ETA: What's your criticism for moving the franchise from St. Louis to LA? I'd love to read that.

There's always hope. 2nd in sacks/game. There's nowhere to go but down.

The demographics in Los Angeles and San Diego are no longer conducive to the NFL because Soccer has taken over.

Love this part:

"And by the way: why does St. Louis have to apologize for still drawing 57,000 per game for a franchise that hasn't had a winning season since 2003?

At some point the team — not the fans — should be held accountable for lower attendance."

You do realize Stan deliberately produced a bad product so numbers would favor him and his plans to leave, right?

Lets think about this. If you wanted to move a team, do you think the NFL would be more in favor of moving an undefeated team with a 100% attendance, or a losing team with much lower attendance? We were played like a fiddle.
