I’m alright with a slower week 1, I’m going to watch as much as possible anyways.

Also allows teams to get into a groove and play less sloppy for Week 2. This years week 2 slate is looking great especially in comparison to previous years.

This year, we had Michigan scheduled (18 and 19) until they scheduled up by swapping Arkansas for Notre Dame

FIFY. You worded that as if to say Michigan was scared of Arkansas. That is not the case.

Biased, but I think Mississippi State playing ULL in the Superdome is worth a watch.

No, you interpreted it that way. If there’s a school scared to play us, they ought not be playing football.

No premier matchup but it’s got decent depth

BYU Utah and Cinny UCLA Thursday night

Wisconsin USF and OSU OKSU Friday night

Then Saturday you have the games you listed

Week 2
Maryland vs Syracuse
Missouri vs West Virginia
Colorado vs Nebraska
Clemson vs Texas A&M
Tennessee vs BYU
Texas vs LSU

Week 3
Houston vs Washington State
Mississippi State vs Kansas State
West Virginia vs North Carolina State
UCF vs Stanford
Iowa State vs Iowa
Michigan State vs Arizona State
Purdue vs TCU
UCLA vs Oklahoma
Arizona vs Texas Tech

Week 4
Georgia vs Notre Dame
BYU vs Washington
Pittsburgh vs UCF
Arizona State vs Colorado

These OOC games are being spread out more throughout the first four weeks, which I think is better than having 5 different big game on at the same time during week 1.

Don't forget, Wisconsin goes on the road to Tampa to take on the Bulls of South Florida Friday night.

You've gotta give Barry credit for going on the road into that hornet's nest

And for Madison:

The average humidity in July: 71%
The average humidity in August: 74.4%

I doubt the few extra percentage points of humidity (on average) will have double digit players dropping with cramps.
