Alabama’s earlier win over Georgia should be nullified. This game shows how much better/worse each team is now.
That’s been Alabama’s salvation several times. They “looked” better late in the year. It needs to be applied to them also.

This is the scenario where Bama should get left out
While I'm not huge fans of Notre Dame or Miami, they have been trending in the right direction over the last month while Bama has not.
Bama has also benefitted from every permutation of SECCG situations to get in and they should finally be the loser here.
Conference championships shouldn't matter but they can if you get beat down this badly and other teams are close enough resume wise.

The committee will probably drop BYU from #11 to #14. It's not like they'll drop a whole bunch of spots. They are still 11-2 and can't fall below Utah because they beat them.

Let me see if I understand what Herbie and the other moron are saying,,,,, so it's Okay to drop BYU in a conference championship game because they were dominated, But it's not Okay to drop a now 3 loss Bama in a conference championship game who were also dominated. AND, while they do all that, they move Miami up 2 or 3 spots while dropping Notre Dame a spot.....

Love how ESPN expanded the CFP to 12 teams to create a postseason that Alabama could never miss. And Alabama probably hasn't made the 12 team playoff yet in 2 years
