i dont understand why penn st is so bad on 3rd down. they move the ball ok. they are somewhere in the middle of ncaa in offensive numbers, but this:

is staggering. on the road that is not a recipe for success. im not rushing to back maryland, but will be something to watch for tonight.

i think the under 61 is a good bet. both teams play well against each others strength.
maryland runs it well, but penn st only aver 2.5 opp ypc
penn st poor 3rd down success rate, maryland d 23rd best
look for them both to have drives stall out due to their own ineptitude.

they got a new air raid thing going. despite their discipline air force coughs it up a lot. af great at stopping the run, not great at stopping the pass.

I said it early. I took Duke, but they got a friendly turnover in the red zone right after I posted that. Since then they’ve played excellent defense.
VaTech is a sad program right now. They’ve fallen badly over the last 10-15 years They were always a near Top 10 team.
