Apparently we didn't have enough awards yet. It's now a yearly thing. It's Michigan for this year. This is on the Home Page:
"Michigan had quite the year athletically. The football team bounced back under coach Jim Harbaugh to finish 12-2 and earn a trip to the College Football Playoff, completing its best season since 2011. Men's basketball (19-15) reached the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament, while women's basketball (25-7) reached the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament. Wrestling (12-1) finished as the NCAA runner-up, and men's gymnastics (24-3) finished third nationally."
Doing an ALL TIME TOP TEN list would be way more interesting - going by the School's best 5 sports.
Example:
LSU - Football, Baseball, Track & Field, MBB, & WBB?
USC - Football Baseball etc...
Michigan could use Football, Basketball, Baseball, with Wrestling & Hockey if they are better programs than WBB or something else (over time).
My Guess/Top 10 - not in order
LSU
USC
UCLA
Notre Dame
Oklahoma
Ohio State
Florida
Texas
Stanford
North Carolina

Thx for posting their reasoning.

So here it is.

If it's a yearly thing, LSU was either shite or mediocre in all of those sports except for T&F and WBB.

The hockey team also made the Frozen Four. Not sure why they didn't include that.

Meh, not so sure about that. There's some tough competition.
Easily bottom 10 though.

NCAA already gives out an all-sports trophy every year.
That's why I'd rather see an All Time list

Yeah, that's a bigger deal than the men's gymnastics.

Why would all-time be "way more interesting"...?

I guess Big 10 got tired of all the California schools winning the Capital One Cup every year thanks to specializing in Olympic type sports and racking up water polo and rowing championship points. So someone made up their own.
