My dad is from Alton and is a lifelong fan. My first games were in 85 when I was seven. I fell in love with Coleman, Ozzie, Willie, Pendleton, and Joaquin.
So yeh..I’d say that checks the boxes.
I actually don’t hate the Braves. Very fond memories of going to FCS. I loved sitting out there chanting Daryllllll when they played the Mets.

The drama is fabricated but I'm ok if the Cardinals want to make themselves into some enemy. Seems dumb after they won the series but if it'll last a few seasons it could be fun.

I watched ever game Atlanta played vs STL this season and the past 10 seasons for that matter.
Wtf are the Cardinals talking about? I have no clue what they are so pissed off about. Honestly I am lost.
What I do know is this.
Yadi talked shite the entire series
Carlos whatever the StL closer talked shite about Acuña I guess watching a HR? I didn't even think he pimped the HR
Then blew a kiss at Hamilton when he was on 2B
Yadi threw his fricking bat at the Braves outfield after his sac fly and did all kinds of Bush league bullshite
And they hit Acuña today. Which I'm telling you he is gonna get real sick and tired of getting hit real soon
It was the Cardinals that acted like a bunch of bitches. Like they always do

I agree. I legitimately didn’t understand what happened that got under their skin so much. Was there something I just missed in this series that has pissed them off?
Acuña literally didn’t do anything different than he always does when he hits one 450 feet.
Martinez has literally never retired Acuña in his big league career though so I think that likely has a lot to do with his side of it and even Cards fans will tell you how unstable he is.

I guess they're banking it on Martinez getting his feelings hurt, which is just weird because he's a sociopath who is one of the few Cardinals who who should feel guilty about his role in this series.

I was at every game this series.
The only thing Acuña did was yell at the Cards dugout in game 3 after Martinez threw at him after talking shite about him in the media for not respecting him enough on his home run trot. Nothing about the Acuña/Martinez thing was instigated by the Braves so there has to be something else.
