Congrats to BW for picking up a new ride. Hope MJ is prepared to accept NASCAR mediocrity.

I don’t know how good Wallace will do there, but the team itself and its equipment should be good. With Denny Hamlin at the helm and the technical alliance they will surely have with Joe Gibbs Racing (team Hamlin drives for), they should have a competitive program.

Its the Hornets. He owns a NBA team that turns a profit every year and has more than tripled in value since he bought it, making him a billionaire. I think he is doing just fine..

He didn't do anything special to make that happen. It is a unit of a league in a commodity bubble. Maybe the Chinese dollars can keep it inflated.

I bet you’re one of those people who think they’re the real racists, yet you’re sooooooo butthurt that the black man gets another ride.

And yet you thought it was a “wise business decision” to let Danica get rides, even though she literally wrecked everyone around her and had no chance to win.

not at all. I would like to see any driver that's any good get a ride and compete. But for the noose incident, Bubba was well on his way to losing his ride because of his results. There's no reason to believe it will be different with a new team. That said, if a racing team wants to trade on the "marketability" of a driver, as opposed to that driver's skill and achievements, to make $$$ that's their choice. But if it leads to shite racing and endangers other drivers/teams, I have a problem.

And yet you thought it was a “wise business decision” to let Danica get rides, even though she literally wrecked everyone around her and had no chance to win.

see my statement above.

He didn't do anything? He totally updated and changed the whole business model. Johnson was losing money every year. Jordan has turned a profit for the past few years. He sold about 20% last year (he still owns about 70%) for about 300M. Which is more than he paid for the team. He has owned the team for about a decade, has paid it off, made money almost every year and has a billion dollar asset (his share) that he owns outright. Keep trying to downplay that though..

And still the pillar of mediocrity, the mediocre driver will fit in with his drive team
