Where is the racial discrimination?

The only discrimination is that they weren't required to interview a white coach.

Huh

Unless things have changed, there's no presumption of innocence in civil court.

I have no idea if he has a case or not, just responding to another poster. If it doesn't get thrown out, they will have to actually prove their case or disprove Flores, or they could easily end up paying something.

Interesting that he looking for a Class Action suit, and it doesn't look like he wants money, just a few NFL teams. And to let the players pick the coaches and GMs

quote:

Mr. Flores now brings this Class Action Complaint to shine a light on the racial
injustices that take place inside the NFL and to effectuate real change for the future.

23. Among the other relief sought, Mr. Flores seeks the following injunctive relief:
i. Increase the influence of Black individuals in hiring and termination
decisions for General Manager, Head Coach and Offensive and Defensive
Coordinator positions;
a. Ensure diversity of ownership by creating and funding a committee
dedicated to sourcing Black investors to take majority ownership
stakes in NFL Teams
;
b. Ensure diversity of decision-making by permitting select Black
players and coaches to participate in the interviewing process for
General Manager
, Head Coach and Offensive and Defensive
Coordinator positions;

Good luck suing an employer for simply not hiring you

The suit has zero merit in a court of law. He knows that. But you out this public and take the NFL money to make it go away and pander to the masses. It’s what people do that don’t care about ethics

Flores would have been better off filing a suit for wrongful termination, claiming it was retaliation for not tanking.

That sounds like a more legitimate complaint.

There’s no such thing as “guilt” or “innocence” in civil court.

The plaintiff has to prove their case by a preponderance of the evidence. They have to prosecute their case. The plaintiff has to prove it…in general.

If they cannot, defense can simply file a Motion for Summary Judgment that there are no genuine issues of material fact.

In this case it’ll get settled because the nfl doesn’t want discovery.

Lolwat They don’t need proof of anything. That’s the Plaintiff’s job.

Do the BB texts not prove that he was told by someone inside of the orgs that Daboll was already selected?

What if Daboll was already selected? Doesn’t matter.

In all seriousness and stating the obvious, but the NFL has a serious problem vis a vis gambling if one owner is trying to pay a coach to lose. That is a large problem, even moreso while the league is profiting directly from gambling on its games.

burn baby burn

The absolute best outcome would be if that dipshit Ross was forced to sell the Dolphins. We will never be a winner until he sells or croaks.

But if they brought BB under oath and he alleged that higher ups did tell him that, would that not be pretty damning? Idk how witnesses work in civil court but I feel like it’s pretty obvious that someone said something to BB unless he was just lying from the beginning

That’s a pretty tough allegation that the Broncos execs were hungover and disheveled at 7:30 the morning of the interview. Calling them out in federal court.

Flores talks about there being no black owners. Ryan Clark talks about their being no billionaire black owners, talks about slavery, plantations.

So it's the NFL fault there are no black owners? Yes I agree Rooney rule is a joke but seriously.

Every lawyer that he hired is white. One of the law firms doesn’t have a single black lawyer.

When he has the ability to hire he goes 100% white. Makes sense in clown world.
