If you were an NFL GM, who would you take as rookie to play QB for your team for 15 years?

For which team? Who's the head coach?

Manning. Easily. And I wouldn't look stupid for it either seeing how things turned out. Both QBs are among the most prolific of all-time, but Brady seemingly came out of nowhere. Absolutely no one saw a 6th round draft pick rising up and doing what Brady did.

Knowing what I know now? Probably Brady.

If Manning played under Belichick, they would have rings for every finger and their penises.

That's an easy answer now. Brady of course.

That's not a guarantee and it's also a dumb argument a lot of anti-Brady posters postulate when this debate comes up. Bellichick had talented QBs before Brady like Bernie Kosar and Drew Bledsoe. He was fired from the Browns and went 5-13 with Bledsoe as his starter.

Brady was the missing variable in the equation. He bought into what Bellichick was selling and is just as driven as his head coach is.

Plug in Aaron Rodgers and it doesn't work. Yeah...he's super talented but by all accounts is difficult to get along with. He and Mike McCarthy were constantly at odds with each other and there were certain times where Rodgers decided to be his own head coach on the field, completely blowing off the plays that McCarthy was dialing up on the sideline.

Bellichick would not stand for that. The relationship between the two would have eventually become toxic and either Rodgers or Bellichick would have been shown the door.

doubtful, he's never shown he can win without elite talent around him on offense.

Brady has.

Manning.

Firmly believe he has a much higher floor than Brady.

Brady arguably higher ceiling and has more accolades, but he undoubtedly had a better team, GM, and coach around him for most of his career than Manning.

Be quiet everyone knows logic isn’t allowed in Brady threads on the msb. Just know that he was never any better than a 6th rd backup anyone could win as much as he has under bellichek never mind his past coaching record his success with New England was inevitable he had fixed his coaching flaws by that time and was the GOAT coach already we just didn’t know it.

It’s one thing to say he’s not the best ever because that can easily be debated both ways imo. But those who say he’s not even top 5 or 10 and claim he would be a clipboard holder if he didn’t go to the pats are either trolling, blinded by hate of a guy who plays a game for kids. Incredibly stupid or a combination of the 3
