Those are all excellent points. At Marquette, your job is pretty much safe, unless you start missing numerous NCAA Tourneys in a row, and you have a strong program. IU, you better be making Sweet 16's, even a Final Four here and there, or you could be gone in a hurry. I just think it's a once in a lifetime opportunity, though.

How much more is he making now at IU by the way?

No idea. That's a good question.

USC has to be in right now. Big win over Cal today. RPI should be in the high 30's tomorrow. This team is coming around

Right now probably ASU, and Cal, but no bad loses. The RPI is solid for a bubble team.

ETA: Good Call!!

i think we have a good chance to beat UCLA next week. They are starting to play up to their potential (annialated Cal and Stanford this week), but SC gives them matchup problems with our athletisism. We choked hard against them at Galen, but were in a position to win

A win over UCLA and I'd put you at now lower than a 9.

Right now, so many teams on/near the bubble. In 2 weeks, 20 of these teams may be out.

Does tonight's UL/UCONN winner prove they are the best team in America or does Duke/OU/UNC/WF still have something to say about that? How about Marquette?

What about South Carolina? Also i think Memphis will get better than a 5 seed.

They could get a 3 or 4, but they play in a joke of a conference and are nowhere near as explosive as last year. They could interchange with Kansas, I suppose.

Yea...I didn't even notice the significance of that matchup until last night. It certainly would be a battle of thuggery. UNLV may move up, depending on if they win out. They are a dangerous team, just as they were 2 years ago.

I don't think UNLV is anything like the Tarkanian era teams in their style of play, i haven't seen them much since the Louisville game though.

Yeah, they're not even the same. Memphis fan eh? They need to get in the Big East, ACC, SEC, or anywhere else...that's just not fair that they haven't lost a conference game in some 3 years.

I'm definitely an LSU fan but i used to live near Memphis and went to school there for a year, so i pull for them in bball especially if LSU isn't a contender. I guess a move to the Big East would be alright, but they would have to make a big time commitment to football (or drop it entirely i guess), which i doubt happens.
