I’ll start off by saying I wasn’t expecting Tulane to win 10 games and be a borderline top 15 team

Also didn’t foresee TCU going from 5-7 last year to potentially in the College Football Playoff

LSU winning the west was a pleasant surprise. I expected us to go like 7-5

LSU going .500 the last 2 years and having an outside shot at the playoff after beating Bama in year one with Kelly would’ve been up there until last night. Now it’s just an overachieving season but not craziest story in CFB this year.

It probably is USC and TCU however with first year coaches needing 1 win to make the playoffs with recently struggling teams

That we still get excited about midseason parity and think this year is different; only to realize in December it will just be Bama-Georgia again.

Certainly wasn't Kentucky.

Maybe south Carolina's final two games?

Easily TCU for me.

LSU was also a very pleasant surprise, but they fell off of the top of this list last night.

On the field: TCU by far
Off the field: It has seemed like the fastest season ever.

Washington...didn't expect 10 wins and a possible Rose Bowl.

Kansas winning 6 games.

7-5 was the regular season prediction. LSU went 9-3. I’d say that’s sufficiently far off in a 12 game season. LSU’s o/u preseason was 6.5 wins

Penix deserves an invitation to the Heisman ceremony.

USC has been incredible. I thought 8-9 wins would be a good year 1 for Riley
