What do you expect?

Basically all journalists come from Big10 schools so they're gonna write about it as if its God's Conference.

LoL no one gives a shite about Big 10 academics outside of Michigan and Northwestern. Those are the only two with national pull. Every other school is a regional state school, just like every school in the SEC outside of Vandy.

Ohio kids go to Ohio state and get jobs in the midwest. Tennessee kids go to Tennessee and get jobs in the Southeast. Indiana kids go to Indiana and get jobs in Indianapolis. Georgia kids go to UGA and get jobs in Atlanta.

No one in the rest of the country cares about Ohio State and Iowa’s World Report Rankings compared to Florida and Auburn. Outside of the T-25 it’s all about geography and excellence in certain majors.

What? Toledo, ULM, Middle Tennessee State are regional state schools. Ohio State, Wisconsin, Georgia, etc. are huge, billion dollar universities with high global reputations (not Harvard level but still high).

I'd have to imagine all the young ladies and boys whom were molested by Big 10 officials think differently.

I hope Nub fans realize that their life in the Big Ten is going to be a living hell from here on out. You won't get a fair shake from the officials.

Regional as in within their respective regions of the country they’re well respected and carry a lot of weight, as compared to national universities that attract students from all over and place students in jobs all over. Not regional as in a directional school.

No one outside of the Midwest cares about Ohio states and Wisconsin’s academics. Just like no one outside of the Southeast cares about Georgia’s and Bama’s.

I Always love these Undergrad university rankings...Like Biology 101 or College Algebra or Accounting 101 is any different at Harvard than Texas Tech... it’s not.

For grad school the rankings mean something, but not for undergrad.

Because they'll land you a better job.

The only reason why an undergrad degree from a more prestigious University isn't as valuable is because nobody gives a shite about undergrad degrees...that's like a H.S. diploma these days.

But graduate school matters a whole lot financially for your future.

That's a poor example. Texas Tech is pretty much scraping the bottom of the barrel when it comes to Tier 1 Universities.
