Meh Acadiana is a more impressive version of them. John Curtis recruited themselves a talent advantage for a long time

Brigham Young football since LaVell Edwards retired in 2000.

Play dirty as hell and sucker punch whenever you can.

LMAOO

He’s got one of the best attacking players in the world

One of the best CBs in the world on a world record fee for his position

And a world class goal keeper who also set a world record for his price at the time

The defenses during Chip's time had a say in their success. Some of the best if not the best defenses they have ever had in their history.

It’s funny that Oregon’s best players at the pro level are primarily defensive players. Haloti Ngata being one of the best interior 3-4 DL of all time.

You should remember, Udub only scored more than 20 points,(21), once against Chip led Oregon.

This guy is so envious of Oregon’s success for the last 20 years. Meanwhile the Huskies have gone the way of the Huskers since the 90s.

3 BCS bowl games in the last 6 seasons including a playoff berth...

Not jealous of your slavery funded development program / turnstile for state of Florida college football coaches.

I don't watch basketball and Bennett is likely a big reason why.

Girls HS teams often score more than those teams did.

Texas Tech under Leach.

Not saying they were ever world beaters but Leach managed to win with a whole bunch with no name QBs, Michael Crabtree, and undersized white receivers.

Ah yes. Flopping on defense while “being coached not to foul”. Holding the ball on offense for 33 seconds and chucking up a wild 3 that went in. Don’t miss it at all.

2006 Catholic and 2014 Ponchatoula are prime examples of clearly more talented teams being ousted by the Veer Machine.

I remember them having as many guys with legit track speed as they’ve had power backs.

That's the biggest difference between UW and Iowa.

UW has better backs and most have speed. Some noted fast guys; Michael Bennett, Melvin Gordon, JT.

definitely any basketball school that runs a defensive, drain the clock philosophy.

Northern Iowa was probably the best at beating teams that were way more talented than them just by controlling the clock.

The Alabama Football Program from:

1- NCAA looking the other way at recruiting violations. Nothing done about DJ Fluker or Dodge Chargers

2- SEC “bridge schedules” and other happenings showing favoritism by the SEC office

3- SEC Officiating

4- The REC and by far the deepest, best funded and most well-coordinated network of bagmen in the sport.

5- espn serving as Alabama & Saban’s propaganda arm.

6- The ability of Nick Saban in finding ways to circumvent, abuse and misuse NCAA rules.

*** I am not talking about the “talent level” of the players on the field, but what the program has achieved in light of the resources available in comparison to other universities.

They had also went 30 years without winning the league before Klopp won the league in 2020. They also rank 11th in net spend among Premier League clubs since Klopp took over. Manchester City and Manchester United’s net spend is nearly 4x higher than Liverpool. The fact that Liverpool has been the only club that has been able to challenge City in the league over the past five years while being so grossly outspent is amazing.

Ooo sisters the poor Liverpool

They must shop at pound land

They won Europe and other trophies while being an elite club without Klopp in the 2000s

Liverpool is an institution that will always be successful, it was just a matter of time they became elite again. What Klopp is doing isn’t some amazing feet on a shoe string budget. Under him they broke two world record transfer fees. Yes they were able to fleece Barca selling Cou. But Liverpool is on of the biggest clubs and brands in the world.

UVA basketball under Bennett.

They have had more talent than people realize, but that system has locked down the ACC for a decade.
